Gaining muscle is always associated with gaining weight. If we exercise, some of us do gain muscle, while others will not build any muscle. However, there are people who exercise, lose weight and build muscle all at the same time. Some people don’t really like to have muscles in their body, especially women since it will just make them look masculine while men can have as much as they want. A muscle weight loss plan for women would work, but for men it’s just improbable. Most men prefer to have muscles in their body rather than having nothing at all.
Having muscles in your body is really beneficial. Externally, it will make you look good and you would be able to do things that people who have no muscles cannot do. Having muscles will give you more power that will make you take on better exercises and produce better results. This is also great for your internal organs, since these will be cared for by exercises and your healthy diet. The best thing about having muscles is the way you can eat. A pound of your muscle would need at most 500 calories per week to stay the way they are. Fat only needs 14 calories. That means you can eat more food with calories and have more leeway on your diet plans. Without muscles you still need to look after your diet or else you’ll gain weight really fast.
If your plan is muscle weight loss, it would depend on the type of exercises that you do. The proven muscle building exercises are strength exercises. Lifting weights or anything that would need to exert power from your body are strength exercises. Stay away from these type of exercises since it will burn your fats and you will gain muscles. To be fit while losing weight without the muscles, stick to aerobic exercises. Jogging, walking, and biking are some of the exercises that are called aerobics. These will just burn calories while your muscles would stay relaxed and not exert force. Thus your muscles will not develop since they are not exercised in any way.
People still recommend gaining muscles rather than sticking to just one type of exercise. If you really don’t want a body that is muscle bound, combine the two types of exercises and it will slowly develop your body while achieving muscle weight loss.
