Many people have ask this question over and over. The reason is because there has been many bad comments said about this popular drink.
Here is my take on Gatorade.
Gatorade and many other sports drinks have one goal, which is to energize and re-hydrate your body. These drinks are especially designed for those who do sports, o practice any kind of intense activity.
What I’m trying to say is that you shouldn’t drink Gatorade if you are just watching TV doing nothing, because its a big waste of money, I’m not saying you can’t, I’m just saying you shouldn’t.
If your goal is to maintain your body fit and you do regular exercise then drinking Gatorade is fine. It gives much much more energy then water and overall it gives you that extra boast you need to finish you workout. Here is the bad part, Gatorade has about 55 grams of sugar in one bottle, so if you are trying to lose weight, then you should replace it with water.
To finish answering the question, Gatorade is not bad at all, you just have to know when to take it.
