High Protein Diet

The rationale behind a high protein diet is that carbohydrates cause swings in blood sugar which encourages your body to create body fat. Overall a high protein diet emphasis on minimizing your carbohydrate intake by 80%.

A normal high protein diet involves you eating eggs and ham. You can not eat any bread or juice. For lunch you can have a big burger, but with no bun. At dinner you can eat anything that involves meat like steak, tuna, fish, etc. You can complement the meal with a small salad if you want.

One of the problems with high protein diets is that this can cause water loss. This happens because your body hardly has no carbohydrates in your system, therefor it doesn’t store any water. That’s why you may see a fast weight loss when doing a high protein diet, because of the water loss.

Another problem with high protein diets is that it can lead to excessive consumption of cholesterol causing serous health problems. Also not having carbohydrates in your body can make you very weak.
