Lots of diet pill makers claim things that are just false, and it seems that now the Federal Trade Commission ‘also known as the FDC’ is taking action. The FDC has charged million dollar fines to 4 weight loss pill companies. The general fines are for false advertising. I’m surprised they didn’t find more companies that had false advertising claims, I’m sure there are more then 4. Anyway, here are the companies that got hit with the big fines:

• Trimspa
• CortiSlim
• Xenadrine
• WeightSmart

The Federal Trade Commission decided that these companies made claims about their product with no evidence to back it up. Overall these guys just didn’t have scientific evidence on there advertising claims and now they have to pay for there false statements.
