Some time go the FDA finally approved the use of silicone gel for breast implants after more then 3 years of health concerns.

This really comes at a great time because breast implants has never been so popular then now. Its incredible how many young girls do these types of operations each year. I myself don’t have any problems with women doing breast implants. I think its a great thing to do especially considering that women can have much more self confidence, but i don’t agree with 18 year old girls doing this because i think they are way to young. A better age could be 21.

In the year 2006:

• Almost 12 million cosmetic procedures were performed in the United States.
• Since 1997 there has been a 456% increased in the total number of procedures.
• The top 3 procedures were liposuction, breast augmentation and eyelid surgery.

That is a lot of people and an amazing amount of cash. It seems that tummy tucks, boob jobs, and eyelid surgery are what people really want.
