How many of you know Rush Limbaugh? Well, for those who don’t know him, he has one of the most popular radio shows with over 20 million listeners weekly. This guy attracts a lot of people, I wish I had so many people looking at my blog, oh well, one day ill be there.

People who have already made the decision on losing weight are in the right track, but after the decision is made there are many factors to take in consideration. One of those is loose skin. The problem is that people who are obese tend to have lots of skin, therefore when they lose the weight, the skin just hangs there.

There are a lot of business that have slow down in the past few years, but there is one niche “weight loss” that not only is billion dollar industry, but each year it keeps on growing in popularity. Why is this business growing so much? Easy, people keep getting fatter and fatter, and basically, the US is having a overweight epidemic. Studies have shown that more then 60% of the US population is overweight.

Cardio Free Diet

cardio free diet. The well known fitness trainer Jim Karas has written a book on saying that cadio is basically a waste of your time. On his book he mentions a way you can do a superb diet without actually doing any type of cardio work. Jim stated in his Diet book that cardio kills your energy, time and motivation.

I know some of you may not agree with him, but at least he is saying something that contradicts what millions of people are mentioning in heath articles. In my opinion, he is saying some truth, but to say that cardio is a waste of your time is ridiculous.

And to tell you the truth, I think he is saying cardio is crap to call attention, its a brilliant marketing plan. I can guarantee that he is going to sell many books by saying this.

Essentially - Karas figured out that he lost weight by practising resistance and strength training with minimal cardio. This is old news. However to say that cardiovascular exercise “kills” a weight-loss plan is simply a headline grabber.

Any type of diet should have some type of exercise included. I can’t believe people are still doubting the benefits of exercise with all the reports that have been published. Not only does exercise helps you overall health, but it makes you look and feel great.

Cardio training may have been over-rated for the last couple of years, but this doesn’t mean we can’t do cardio. It means we need to start focusing on the benefits of strength training and body weight exercises.

Conclusion

A pretty cool analysis, as you can see here, the Zone Diet seems to be the most expensive of them all. But this doesn’t mean that its bad. To tell you the truth, The Zone Diet is one of my favorite diet programs because in my experience, Its one of the best programs that produce excellent results in a short period of time.

Ways to Lasting Weight Loss

Lots of people have questions on how to keep the weight off after you have lost it. In my opinion, I think its how you approach it, rather then you you actually do it. eDiets.com has come up with some excellent tips on ways you can make weight loss last a life time. Some of those tips are:

Do not cut calories drastically - Calories are your bodies energy and its crucial for the proper functioning of your metabolism. What you can do is limit the amount of calories you consume each day. Just try to stay away from corn syrup, sugar, oils and flour.

Keep junk foods out of sight - When you have a piece of cake in the fridge or chips laying in your kitchen counter, its hard to ignore. Once you see it,  all you do is think of eating it threw out the day, That’s why its important to not buy these kinds of foods in the first place, that way you don’t have to struggle with the dam temptation.

Do not drink your calories - Surgery drinks are just plain bad for your diet. They contain so much sugar and calories that it can add pounds to your body in a couple of days. When eating something, try to always drink water. You will save hundreds of calories each day by doing so.

Make fitness a priority - If you do exercise only when you have time then chances are that it will not happen very often. You need to make fitness your number one priority. If you need to alter your schedule the do so, because if you don’t do exercise you won’t see the results your are expecting, therefore cousing desapointment. Plus, exercise is fun and releases stress.
