The heaviest man in the United States (or maybe the world) is called Manuel Uribe. In his worst moment, he used to weigh more then 1,200 pounds, but now he is weighing about 850 pounds. For years, Manuel didn’t leave his house because he had difficulty moving, but a few days ago he left his house and was greeted with a band and wheeled down the streets. He was very happy and everybody treated him well.
Manuel’s family are the ones who take care of him every single day, and are trying to help him lose as much weight as possible. Even in his adolescents, he was already weighing 260 pounds. Every year it got worst and worst, but in 2002 he started losing weight. Manuel Uribe has lost already 300 pounds thanks to his family and doctors. His main goal is to reach 265 .
“My goal is to leave the house on my own but I know that will be a long process,” he said. (MSNBC.com)
According to his doctors, it will take about 5 years until he reaches his goal.

In the upcoming months the companies Pepsi and Coca Cola will be releasing new vitamin fortified soft drinks. The names of these drinks are going to be Coke Plus and Tava.
The exact release dates are still not known, but from what i have read, Coke Plus is scheduled to come out in spring and Tava should be here by fall.
I think these companies are focusing on vitamin fortified drinks because they know that these kinds of product sell well. Remember that these companies are after the cash, they know when and what to sell. As long as there products are good, I’m sure that they will be popular.
Lot’s of people are saying that both companies are going to fail on selling these types of products, but I think there wrong. If they get there act together and do a good quality vitamin drink, then i don’t see why they should fail.
There are hundreds and maybe even thousands of different kinds of exercise routines. Almost any type of exercise is great for your body - anything that makes you have fun and gets your body moving is a good thing. But there is always going be an exercise that will be on top and that is walking.
Lots of people underestimate how good walking really is for weight loss. It does look very simple, but it helps tremendously in burning calories and maintaining a healthy heart. I don’t know about you, but i love subway. The food is great and fresh. I really do prefer subs then those greasy hamburgers and pizzas.
