This program is made especially for people who are around the age of 50 and under, due to the intense workout. The person who made Slim in 6 possible is called Debbie Seibers. The price of Slim in 6 is around $60, but you can find it cheaper online, especially on eBay. When you buy this product it includes 5 DVDs, a nutrition guide, a good looking printed journal and a 6 day diet plan.

Slim in 6 is no easy exercise video, you have to workout very hard, many people don’t get threw the whole workout video, but as time passes you will build endurance and as a result, you are going to be able to finish the whole workout. You burn calories like crazy with this exercise program.

As a said before this is a very intense workout video, but trust me, this will pay of at the end when you have a great body. My friend Jessica said she saw results in her body in less then 3 weeks.

If you find that you are having discomfort exercising at 60% of your MHR then immediately stop what you are doing. You should consider getting a complete medically supervised physical examination. Besides exercising at less that 60% of your MHR would have almost no cardiovascular training effect so why take the risk.

The Zone Diet

The Zone DietI recently cam across a diet called “The Zone Diet,” so i decided to do a little research and write about it. The Zone Diet was created by a guy called Barry Sears, a researcher in biotechnology at the Massachusetts Institute.

What Is The Zone?

The zone is a physiological state in which the hormones governed by the food you consume are maintained within the zones that are not to high, or to low. The great thing about controlling insulin are decreased risk of cardiovascular disease, better mental performance and fat loss, especially in your abdominal area.

Insulin control is achieved by balancing protein and carbohydrate at each meal. The insulin component of the Zone can be described as a moderate carbohydrate, protein, and fat dietetery program. The maximum amount of protein at any meal should be no bigger than the size of your palm.

The majority of carbohydrates should come from fruits and vegetables, with starches such as pasta, bread and rice. Finally, most of the fat should consist of good monounsaturated fat. Unlike high-carbohydrate or high protein diets that increase insulin levels, the insulin control component of the Zone dietary program is based on balance and moderation at each meal.

The goal of the Zone diet is to keep a hormonal balance between fat storing insulin and the hormone glucagon. Glucagon is the hormone responsible for releasing stored glucose from your liver when needed. Keeping a balance between these two hormones is archived by limiting the amount of certain food groups. So, the Zone Diet is focused on your hormones to archive weight loss, and by the looks of it, this diet works great.
